Physician - Pathology

Fairview Health Services is seeking a full-time AP/CP-boarded or board eligible, Surgical Pathologist with Anatomic Pathology subspecialty training, to join community practice based at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.

Practice Details:

Join a team of community Pathologists, working in close collaborations with pathologists at the University of MinnesotaPractice base: M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital; privileges at Southdale, Ridges, Northland, Lakes, St. John's, Woodwinds, Bethesda, University of Minnesota Medical Center, and Fairview clinicsCall Frequency: On rotation schedule with other Fairview pathologistsAreas of practice: Area of subspecialty interest as well as other surgical pathology services. Covering frozen sections, heme bench reviews, rapid on-site evaluation for specimen adequacy for surgical and cytology specimens, etc.Participate in the Anatomic Pathology quality management program of the community hospitals.Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital, located in the city of Edina, Minnesota is conveniently located at the crossroads of several major highways in the growing and vibrant Southwest suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Pathology residency training programBC/BE in Anatomic Pathology by The American Board of PathologyFellowship training or equivalent experience in a surgical pathology subspecialtyLicensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice LicensureMeet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
