Job Summary and QualificationsThe Supervisor of General Radiology provides oversight and coordination of all diagnostic x-ray procedures and activities of assigned staff. The position requires the technologist to work with the Radiologists and department management to carry out department and hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. The Supervisor must possess strong interpersonal and technical skills, proven leadership skills, ability to use sound judgment as situations dictate and effective problem solving skills. All employees of North Florida Regional Medical Center will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and Nation Patient Safety standards.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) (CT)
- Vocational School Graduate
- 3 - 5 years experience as a registered radiologic technologist in a hospital setting; 1 -2 years supervisory experience preferred
