Supervisory Instructional Systems Specialist, GS-1750-13

The position serves as the expert in the principles, processes, and tools of the Human Performance Technology (HPT) and Instructional Systems Design (ISD) models and is responsible for managing the service-wide process that screens and scopes client requests to conduct performance analyses.
Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard teamTypical work assignments include:
Supervising members of the Performance Analysis section, which consist of active-duty HPT and non-HPT graduates, as well as GS personnel overseeing the daily roles, responsibilities, performance and accomplishments.
Serving as a lead human performance consultant to key stakeholders, responsible for creating, continually improving, and executing the process that identifies clarifies, prioritizes and assigns execution of HPT analysis across the Coast Guard.
Leading teams and work groups established to close performance gaps present in any Coast Guard statutory mission area.Preparing instructional materials and delivering training to personnel on implementation of the various phases of the HPT and ISD model when new training initiatives resulting from equipment changes and new technologies warrant training to ensure a clear understanding and utilization.
Serving as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR), responsible for managing contracts in support of the training program.-
