Ferguson is now seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team This role delivers sales forecasting, analytics, productivity, CRM maintenance and other key sales support functions to our Salt Lake City Waterworks business unit. This position will be based out of our Salt Lake City Branch location with occasional visits to other, local branches.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with field teams and provide daily administrative, project and product support.
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends, identifying sales opportunities.
  • Assist in developing sales leads by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport with customers while helping to maintain existing accounts; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
  • Guides sales organization compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in the waterworks, construction, plumbing or piping industry
  • Strong computer proficiency including use of Microsoft applications and navigating multiple software systems
  • Experience with PowerBI, Planswift, Bidtracer and/or Salesforce highly preferred
  • Basic reporting experience using Excel, including sorting, filtering and data compilation, required
  • The ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
