This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DIB MRTFB to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: This is a Supply Technician (Office Automation), GS position located at Tooele Army Depot, Directorate of Ammunition Operations, Tooele, UT.

• Check for accuracy and presence of stock number, nomenclature, priority, destination, due dates, unit of measure, and quantity for compliance with established regulations.
• Work as a liaison with personnel in other organizations, such as surveillance, transportation, inventory, and shipment planners to ensure all hazardous information on documents is correct so material can be properly packed and certified.
• Prepare the shippers certification for hazardous material when any type of hazard is involved.
• Prepare a variety of shipping address labels using computer printer and applies them to individual shipments.
• Maintain logs for shipping documents and shipment planning worksheet; keep records of all shipments worked and all documents shipped on a daily basis, and transfer information to computer record.
• Type a variety of correspondence including letters and memorandum.
