Audiology 4th Year Externship

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is one of the largest private practice otolaryngology groups in the country with over 61 office locations throughout the state of Florida. We are seeking to fill 6 full-time, paid, clinical Audiology 4th year externship positions for the academic year. While services vary by location, students can expect exposure to a wide variety of audiological services in a fast-paced ENT setting including:

• Comprehensive diagnostic audiometric evaluations (pediatric and adult)
• Diagnostic vestibular evaluations
• Fitting and selection of amplification and ALDs
• Cochlear implants and osseointegrated devices
• Tinnitus evaluation, counseling, and management

Minimum requirements for Audiology externship: bachelor's degree, eligibility for Audiology 4th year externship, and eligibility for Florida provisional Audiology license.

Office locations in Florida accepting Externs for the year include Coral Springs, Boca Raton, Jupiter, Fort Pierce, Wesley Chapel/Trinity, and Brooksville/Trinity.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: Strong clinical foundation in diagnostic hearing and vestibular evaluations, as well as treatment and management of hearing loss.
