Job Description

The Director of Digital Transaction Processing Engineering is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the development technologies that enable Oracle Restaurants customers' digital transformation. This includes APIs, Kiosks, mobile, and other self-service technologies. You will help shape the digital experience roadmap and are accountable for execution of this roadmap.

The ideal candidate will be both technically strong and excellent in people management. You understand solution excellence and know-how to infuse a culture of accountability and ownership within your team. You have an API first perspective and can champion this philosophy with all stakeholders. Industry experience is desired.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Significant experience as a software engineer.
  • Skilled managing teams in multiple time zones.
  • Skilled in coordinating dependencies from other teams.
  • Strong knowledge of UX and CX.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and Android development.
  • Experience with Cloud Native technologies including Kubernetes and Containers.

Responsibilities

  • Direct teams responsible for digital consumer experiences such as online ordering, kiosks, and self-service technologies.
  • Responsible for API strategy and development for digital enablement.
  • Responsible for performance and reliability of APIs.
  • Responsible for Kiosk technology strategy and development.
  • Technically hands-on with day-to-day engineering operations.
  • Manager production escalations requiring development engagement.

US: Hiring Range: from $120,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
