Position Summary

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join a stable and growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is a unique opportunity to advance a strong clinical and academic career in MIGS.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in Minimally-Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in the clinical context. Develop scholarly activity; Prepare and deliver academic presentations.Minimum Qualifications
MD or DOBoard-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologyCertified MIS-designated focus practice and/or AAGL/SLS fellowship trainedLicensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois

Urogynecology experienceExperience with mentoring and training residents and medical studentsDemonstrated ability to produce scholarly activity We are located in Peoria, Illinois – a central Illinois city with all the urban amenities, minus the traffic.
