Job OverviewThe Business Analyst of Management Systems will work as a self-starter who is capable of identifying system needs through integration with end users, create project plans based upon requirements and timelines which they have gathered, able to lead small projects from end to end, play a key role as the power user communicating between end users and strong technical developers, and is able to work across multiple initiatives simultaneously. Additionally, this individual will work extensively with field users to know and understand their business needs and anticipate technology solutions to assist in delivering sound systems solutions.   • Responsible for assessing systems, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise, maintaining systems and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.
  • Reviews system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to determine if the requested functionality is possible within the existing application
  • Functions as technical contact for support escalation for all front of house and back of house systems
  • Collaborates with corporate and property IT resources as well as vendors to ensure proper installation, maintenance and day to day operations of system interfaces
  • Corrects system application errors after implementations
  • Engages in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational
  • Ensures that all SOPs and compliance practices are adhered to and assists with any audits throughout the year
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Related field– required
    • OR four (4) years' related IT applications work experience– required
  • Four (4) years' related IT and/or AV work experience in a Casino/Hotel environment– required
  • Proven experience in application infrastructure planning and development
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
  • Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including Windows, TCP/IP and NAS protocols
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a valid and current State Driver's License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required
  • Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
