Quantity Surveyor - Senior Quantity Surveyor

MANCHESTER

Up to £60,000 per annum plus benefits

Capstone Recruitment are working with a well-established medium sized construction consultancy which is wholly owned and operated by its employees. This consultancy is well-spread over a variety of sectors with healthy pipeline and are in a new phase of growth. They are looking for a candidate at QS - SQS level to help work on their residential projects, supporting their key clients who are giants in the residential development sector.

You will be joining an established Cost Management team undertaking QS/Employers Agent services for various clients across the region. They have structured training & support to enable you to gain your Chartership with the RICS.

Relevant skills and experience:

• Experience working as an QS or SQS for either a Consultancy / Contractor (essential)
• Experience within the Residential sector, ideally have experience working on social housing projects (desirable)
• Experience acting as an Employers Agent (desirable)
• Experienced dealing with Pre & Post contract duties
• MRICS qualified would be ideal - or working towards being MRICS qualified
• Experienced in all aspects of Quantity Surveying
• Pre and Post Contract Administration duties as both Traditional QS and or as an employer's agent is desired
• Knowledge of various forms of procurement contracts would be ideal
• Feasibility and Cost Planning, Measurement, Contract Administration
• Residential new build and refurb sector experience would be ideal
• Private and Affordable Housing
• Extra Care and Care experience would be beneficial
• New Build and Refurbishment project experience - residential, mixed use
