HiWe live in Springfield Illinois population of about 125k has mall and most typical restaurants any other large city. Buses dont come out west of town but we are about 7 miles from the capital center. The university of Illinois Springfield is nearby about 15 miles away and also lincoln land community college (2 yr). Both offer language classes. I consider a very safe area to live and a safe community in general. We are about 3 hours south of Chicago and 2 hours north of St. louis.
  • Job DescriptionWe are looking for someone to sit and be helpful to Joan , playing card games, watching tv, walks at mall, also food preparation is needed.
The Son (Chris).- is working home remote and helps during the week, the eldercare live in job would mostly be Friday night at 6pm or Saturday morning 7am to Sunday at 6pm.
  • AccommodationThe caregiver will have to her own bathroom on the 2nd floor but would like her to on the 1st floor bedroom optional bedroom in basement fully finished is available and guest room on 2nd floor with private bathroom.
The home is in Salem estates newer subdivision in Springfield.
