EMTs and Paramedics play a crucial role in providing safe and high-quality medical care within state EMS regulations, ensuring the best possible assistance during emergencies and scheduled medical transports.

Responsibilities

The EMT's main duties include:

  • Providing appropriate patient care following their EMT training
  • Safely transporting patients by accurately navigating locations and conveying accurate patient conditions
  • Documenting patient information, medical history, treatments, and billing details
  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and monitoring fluid levels
Qualifications

Candidates must have:

  • NREMT or state license
  • Ability to deliver medical care while transporting patients
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Pass preemployment interviews, physical exams, drug screenings and training courses
