A local food distributor is looking for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join their team and oversee the accounting department and manage the day-to-day accounting duties. In this role, you will handle AR duties such as processing transactions, preparing monthly reports, and training AR clerks.

Qualified candidates will have 5 years of accounts receivable and sales audit experience.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location
Halawa, Oahu

Pay
$50,000 to $55,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage AR clerks.
• Reconcile, monitor, and process all AR transactions.
• Prepare monthly AR reports for review and monitoring.
• Perform monthly AR closing and reconciliation.
• Approve new customer credit application and monitor ongoing customer credit status.
• Work with internal and external personnel to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Maintain and manage all customer information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of Accounts Receivable and Sales Audit experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledgeable of credit and collection procedure and laws.
• Knowledgeable of basic accounting procedures.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
