Summary

You will serve as a Telecommunications Mechanic in the Communications-Electronics Office, Telephone Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.



Duties
  • You will maintain, repair, test, modify, install, and relocate telephone, teletype and radio remote circuits and associated equipment.
  • You will plan and lay out complex installations, including the cable run diagrams, prints, and key system work sheets to allow completion of assigned tasks, from the inception stage to completion.
  • You will install new equipment by using specifications, drawings, and guidelines set forth by various manufacturers.
  • You will perform visual examination and electrical testing to identify and correct malfunctions.
