Portland Metro Franchised Dealer

Full Time opening for an Automotive Parts Counterperson. We are seeking a friendly, organized, qualified professional with factory experience.

Automotive Parts Counterperson Qualifications:

  • Dealership Experience REQUIRED
  • General Motors experience preferred. Will train the right person
  • Strong work ethic and attendance.
  • Able to work rotating Saturday's.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to start ASAP preferred
  • Have strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Professional appearance a MUST
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.

Automotive Parts Counterperson Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
  • Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock.
  • Complete special order part request for customer's and service personnel.
  • Communicate with customers on parts status.
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.
