An independent community-based academic medical center and health system in southwest Connecticut is adding a Nocturnist to join an established and busy team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing compassionate, top-quality patient care.

  • Nocturnist will provide supervision, consultation, and teaching to residents in the Department of Medicine and Family Practice.
  • Nocturnist will also provide medical consultation as necessary for Surgery and OB/GYN Residents and will provide emergency inpatient coverage of medical patients on the non-teaching medical service.
  • 7 on/7 off schedule
  • Closed ICU
  • Average of 5 admissions per night/physician
  • Work along with 2 other Nocturnists
