  • Leading the implementation of APQP practices within New Product Development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborating with Marketing and New Product Development teams to achieve product and process design goals effectively
  • Conducting supplier reviews to enhance product quality and contribute to Supplier Risk Management
  • Supporting the Supplier Quality Assessment program and analyzing supplier processes
  • Providing technical support and training on APQP methods and quality processes
  • Implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System for ISO 9001
  • Contributing to the development of DVP&R's and Test Plans while working with Design and Test Engineering
  • Ensuring Manufacturing Quality Plans are completed in the NPD process
  • Tracking design quality metrics for Product Development projects
  • Upholding health and safety guidelines and confidentiality standards
  • Continuing professional development through education and networking
  • Collaborating with the team on various projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in product Quality and APQP methodologies
  • Familiarity with APQP, FMEA methodologies, and Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Proficiency in various quality tools and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% - domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASQ CQE or CQA Certification
  • Experience in electromechanical and manufacturing operations, and a strong understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, DFM, Kaizen, and other related processes
  • Ability to implement Statistical Process Control and work effectively in a cross-functional setting
