Nice to have : Solaris, Ansible

Required Skills :

• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user Unix computer systems, including coordination with other IT functions.

• Support the requests of the users and solve any problems related with the Linux servers and workstations

• Installs, operates, manages, and maintains hardware and/or software, including administrator and service accounts

• Working on UNIX server builds (Linux & AIX), server retirements, OS upgrades, troubleshooting issues escalated from L2 team, part of project team and helping in setting up the infrastructure projects. Contributing & working on continuous improvements initiatives& automations.

• Maintenance of system documentation, tuning system performance, backup/recovery, and other planned configuration changes.

• Interacts with users and other stakeholders to plan and implement changes and deliver support.

• Contributes to evaluation and recommendations for vendor products

• Responsible for managing the disk space as well as the back up

• Manages and monitors policies and standards for the use of computing resources, and executes on programs and projects within a specific IT function

• This position is responsible to deliver Unix server support operations running critical business applications.

• Candidate will support production & nonproduction systems,

• Play SME & Technical Lead role resolving complex incidents, ensure high availability and zero business impact. Supports multiple OS like AIX, RHEL, Solaris. Working on end-to-end Server Provisioning, Infrastructure release patching & upgrades, Hardware Migrations and Server Decommission. The team also responsible for managing the configuration management tools such Puppet, Ansible.

• Planning , AIX RHEL, Solaris Servers Provisioning , Upgrade , Patching , decommission of unused Servers and Hardware ,Capacity Management ,Maintenance , finding innovative idea and implementing through Ansible , Puppet , Scripting automation

• Candidate will be coordinating with Infrastructure teams like Storage, Backup, Network, and different application teams.

• Application Owners, Architects & Infrastructure teams are the stakeholders

• Candidate will work on problem tickets, continuous improvement initiatives & automations
