Job Summary/Description:

WABI has an immediate opening for a full-time Technical Media Producer (TMP.) This position incorporates the duties of a newscast director and a master control operator. A TMP is responsible for directing live newscasts, monitoring WABI's on-air signals, managing automation playlists as well as ingesting and preparing program content.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Operation of the Ross Overdrive production automation system and associated equipment

Monitor and manage the master control automation system

-Ingest and prepare program content for air

Assist in maintaining a clean studio and control room

Work with all departments to coordinate and produce high-quality programming

Qualifications/Requirements:

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to prioritize complex tasks and manage time effectively

Strong technical and computing skills

Previous newscast directing experience and/or master control experience is a plus

Available to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Must be 18 or older

Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
