Lab Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities:
Coordinates the transfer of any redeployed assets to specified site, local or remote.Procure and drive engagement of appropriate outsourced tools and resources.Work with customer and site-based personnel for asset commissioning to ensure correct instrument entitlements and financial impact.Perform GEMBA to verify requirements are in place for incoming equipment including space, bench type, electrical, gas, ventilation, floor loading, etc.Manage and keep appropriate schedule while effectively communicating changes to instrument owners to ensure proper action is taken in all areas.Interface with key stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors to secure a diverse range of services required during the project(s).Properly delegate and oversee the execution of project deliverables utilizing current procedures and implement improvement when needed.Ensure highest level of efficiency in execution, customer satisfaction, and report metrics as needed.Uphold constant communication with customers to address progress, including accomplishments, challenges and deliverables to maintain transparency.Retain records of time and cost to ensure accurate accountability of project resources and finance elements.Back-up LabOps Coordinators that facilitate capital asset expenditure management and decontamination of laboratory equipment.Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environmentDirect the transportation of instruments to the Client lab site, including safe crating/de-crating to prevent instrument damage.Updates SAP records to ensure complete and accurate visibility to instrument delivery and installation data.Manages all communication, documentation, and data associated with disposition process using SAP, Excel, and SharePoint Sites.May be required to provide on-call service for specific controlled temperature units in the lab areas. Hours are between 5:00pm-7:30am Monday thru Sunday. Tasks include but are not limited to transfer of contents from failing fridges and incubators to designated back up units, photograph item placement before & after relocations, properly document failures, provide a work order of failing unit to the facilities team and inform respective end-users about the transfer via email based on the SOP instructions. Job pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high. Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 25% of the time The person needs to occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings onsite. Frequently operate on instruments, objects, tools, or controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting, stretching, and reaching in order to perform in a service function. Occasionally move or lift up to 25 pounds (potential for occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds). Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation, the ability to observe details at close range distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus to perform the essential service functions of this position. Occasionally operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Employee may be required to handle hazardous waste according to local, state, and federal regulations. Duties may include identifying, handling, generating, accumulating, storing and labeling hazardous waste. Potential risk to lab-based hazards including but not limited to extreme temperature, biological materials, hazardous chemicals. The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $47,320.00 to $71, The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
