Victor is seeking a self-starter with experience in content creation, digital marketing, email marketing, social media, communications, and go-to-market planning for the following role based in Bethesda, MD.

Marketing Specialist

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about enhancing the customer experience through education, is powered by both creativity and KPIs and has a keen awareness of audience needs.

The ideal candidate can seamlessly balance multiple, and often evolving priorities, and can collaborate effectively with the marketing team from strategy to implementation to analysis. This position will report to the US Head of Marketing for Victor.

What can you expect?

  • Execute strategic marketing plans and programs tied to growing the business.
  • Develop and coordinate online advertising and promotional activities linked to contests, seminars, educational opportunities, and other activities.
  • Coordinate the execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, tradeshow, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage.
  • Create compelling copy and creative for email and advertising campaigns, social media posts and other marketing collateral across all Victor US businesses
  • Manage corporate web content
  • Implement website Search Engine Optimization and keyword research

We will count on you to:

  • Support ongoing website management; updating content, imagery and suggesting ideas for improved user experience
  • Carry out competitor research, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their websites, products and services
  • Execute data analysis and review campaign effectiveness
  • Present new and innovative ideas to ensure the organization's marketing strategies are fresh and exciting

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and/ or relevant work experience
  • Three or more years of related marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and information
  • Ability to write articles and promotional materials that conform to prescribed style and format
