As the Infection Preventionist/Staff Development RN, you will provide primary skin care to guests, with an emphasis on the treatment and therapy of skin disorders. You will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the guest, following established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility. In addition, you will be responsible for designing systems and approving actions to prevent or control infections, based on surveillance reports of infections and infection potential among residents and staff.

Some of the responsibilities of the Infection Preventionist/Staff Development Nurse include:
- Monitor healthcare-associated infections
- Assess infection prevention problems and make recommendations for corrective action
- Initiate, review, and revise infection prevention policies and procedures
- Conduct outbreak investigation and initiate control measures. And report communicable diseases to the state as required by law
Qualifications:
- Current RN with licensure in MI
- CPR certification
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care setting preferred
