Salary: $58,815 (Step 01) to $72,561 (Step 10);

NOTE: First time hires to the Federal Government are typically hired at the Step 01.

Duties

As an IT Specialist (Customer Support) within the South Atlantic Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

  • Providing routine advice and guidance to customers requesting information on established policy or procedures, including those related to information security.
  • Installing, configuring, and testing software on customer workstations; and installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware and software components.
  • Diagnosing and resolving recurring problems in response to customer reported incidents; and reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests.
  • Operating a government vehicle as an incidental driver.
