Pond Maintenance Worker

Seeking committed candidates who have some landscaping or pond maintenance experience to assist with pond maintenance and upkeep with a local company in Kona. Ideal candidates will be easy to train, have some prior experience, great organizational skills and eye for detail.

Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm

Location
Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay
$18 an hour

Responsibilities
  • Clean, dredge, and remove algae from ponds and scrub lights/waterfalls.
  • Maintain, repot and feed plants as scheduled.
  • Observe changes in fish, water clarity, plants, water around filtration system and troubleshoot issues or abnormalities.
  • Keep track of equipment and store in proper place after use at farm, truck or at client facility.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of company truck.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of verifiable work experience.
  • Easy to train and able to follow directions.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
