What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will be responsible for the development of pressure vessel, heat transfer, and package unit equipment specifications
  • Provide information throughout various proposals, engineering, and construction phases to the project team
  • In this function, you will be responsible for equipment budgets on all assigned projects
  • You will be familiar with all "Code" calculations and will be responsible for checking vendor calculations for supplied Code equipment
  • Responsible for the coordination of drawing generation for the ladders and platforms required on all pressure vessels
  • Further, you will issue requests for quotations, purchase specifications, bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions on equipment
  • You will review and approve all vendor documentation for equipment on assigned projects
  • Drawing review and engineering coordination of proprietor equipment are also part of this role

What makes you great
  • You have a BS in Engineering, BSME or BSChE preferred
  • 1-3 years experience as a mechanical engineer in a process oriented, E/C Company or in an operating company with project equipment engineering duties
  • Further, you possess effective computer skills like Microsoft Office software and other company and discipline specific software applications
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
