As a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer, you will play a critical role in evolving the infrastructure, operations & reliability of our Core Product Experiences, taking us to new heights of efficiency, reliability, scalability and automation. • Employ Datadog alongside advanced monitoring tools to conduct in-depth analysis and optimization of cloud services and applications, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with software development, operations, and additional teams to drive the development and execution of cutting-edge cloud solutions that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Spearhead cloud automation projects, identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline workflows, minimize manual interventions, and boost system dependability and efficiency.
  • Strategize and implement effective cloud resource management tactics, focusing on cost reduction, compliance with security standards, and robust disaster recovery frameworks.
  • Keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies and methodologies, recommending and adopting innovative tools and practices to maintain a competitive technological advantage.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Proven expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture, complemented by relevant advanced certifications.
  • Mastery in infrastructure automation using Terraform, coupled with strong proficiency in automation scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
  • Significant experience of some or all of the following technologies: Build Kite, Kubernetes, MySQL, Cockroach, Kong, Puppet
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud monitoring and analytics tools, particularly Datadog.
  • A track record of leading significant cloud automation projects and enhancing cloud infrastructure and operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, suited for a dynamic and high-velocity environment.
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills, proven by a history of successful cross-team initiatives.
  • An unyielding enthusiasm for innovation, with a commitment to continuous learning and advancement in cloud technologies and methodologies.
