Freight Broker

Job Description:
Perform all duties required from a Freight Broker.

These duties include, but are not limited to:

• Source new business (Cold Calls)
• Maintain current account business, growing current Customer base
• Oversee the movement of freight from pickup to delivery
• Solve any issues involved in and during the transportation of freight.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Freight Broker
• Lead freight sales and sustain business performance by adding and retaining new customers to achieve set revenue goals
• Have the ability to successfully close the sale
• Have the ability to make cold calls
• Have excellent communication skills along with excellent coordination skills to assist with customers daily shipping needs
• Solid problem analysis skills and financial judgment
• Have basic computer skills in order to execute day to day responsibilities
• Quick Judgement

Pay:

We have 2 types of positions available:

• W2 Employee: Pay is Salary + Commission
• 1099 Agent: Pay is all Commission
