Part-time ongoing sitter for energetic pre-schooler and toddler

Our family is looking for a nurturing caregiver for our 3.5 year old son, and 16 month-old daughter after school.


Our ideal candidate:

  • Has 3+ years of experience with preschoolers and toddlers
  • Loves nurturing and supporting a child's curiosity
  • Has experience working simultaneously with at least two children of different ages (ie in share or classroom setting)
  • Reliable and openminded
  • Is excited to commit to the role for at least one year
  • Has 2 excellent references

Responsibilities include:
Picking our kids up from school at 3pm (by car) and bringing them home

Engaging kids after school in activities and play at home or in nearby park

Snack/meal prep and light housekeeping

Candidate should have:
Valid driver's license

A clean driving record

Pediatric CPR certification

Covid-19 vaccinations (our family is fully vaccinated)
We are based in Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn.


Hours would be Monday through Friday from 3pm - 6pm, additional hours for one date night a week and some housekeeping, and a half day (4 hours) every other weekend.

We will guarantee 20 hours a week, 3 sick days, and 1 week of paid vacation every year.
