Community Life Coordinator- Woodbury Senior Living

Woodbury Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Community Life Coordinator/Music therapist to join our growing team.
Woodbury Health Care Center is home to seniors requiring TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care and Long-Term Care. We are in Woodbury, right next door to Woodbury High School. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors.
Schedule: Monday- Thursday 9:45-3:45
Pay range: $19-23/hour.

If so, we want you to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently Our Community Life Coordinators becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community.
In this position you will assist Community Life Director in the development, organization, coordination and implementation of comprehensive community life/wellness services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident. Duties include:
- Conduct, attend and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities and staff meetings as assigned to maintain compliance.
- Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Actively participate in Community Life department and other required meetings.
- Participate in Care Conferences.
- Provide individual programming determined by resident preference and need.
- Maintain Community Life department and other community supplies and equipment.
- Work with volunteers as assigned by CL Department Supervisor.
- Develop monthly wellness and community life wellness calendar to meet the needs and preferences of residents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Music or Recreational therapist.
- Experience in health care preferred.
