The town of Saugus seeks qualified applicants for the permanent, full-time position of Town Engineer.

This position performs various types of labor related to the study, analysis, and engineering of the town's infrastructure and equipment; undertakes a variety of activities pertaining to public works.

Maintains the town GIS as well as other equipment, records and information for the department.


Requirements are a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least seven to 10 years of experience in study, permitting, design, construction and operations of municipal highway, roadway, water, sewer, drainage sidewalk and other public works-related areas.

Strong management experience of public works projects. Must have the ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously.
