Job Title: Electrician

Location: Astoria, NY

Shift: (6:00am - 2:30pm)

Job Summary:

Aerotek is seeking a skilled and certified Electrician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. You will work in a variety of settings, ensuring all work is performed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

· Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.

· Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.

· Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national codes and regulations.

· Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.

· Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

· Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.

· Valid electrician's license or certification.

· Proven experience as an electrician; experience in the coastal area is a plus.

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
