This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senoir Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - ACQC/PEO TRANSPORT.

• Develop integrated information requirements and integrated architecture, configurations, policies, procedures, plans and programs and budget to support requirements for the information management.
• Develop acquisition strategies, program planning, technology infusion, milestone review preparation, requirements allocation and configuration management.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive strategic plans; assesses policy needs and develops policies to govern IT activities; provides policy guidance to IT management, staff, and customers.
• Prepare IT budgets; identifies and addresses IT workforce planning and management issues; conducts audits of IT programs and projects.
• Develop information system techniques, establishes criteria, and makes recommendations when procedures/guidelines do not exist for telecommunication and automation resources/requirements impacting worldwide systems.
