Duties

This position is located in the Housekeeping department at the Colorado River Service Unit, Parker, AZ. This position serves primarily as a Custodial Worker and reports to the Supervisor Custodial Worker.

FOR APPLICANTS APPLYING UNDER THE PROVISION OF THE EXCEPTED SERVICE EXAMINING PLAN, CONSIDERATION FOR THIS POSITION IS LIMITED TO APPLICANTS ENTITLED TO VETERANS PREFERENCE. IF THERE ARE LESS THAN THREE VETERANS AVAILABLE, NON-PREFERENCE ELIGIBLES MAY BE CONSIDERED.

  • Cleans and disinfects restrooms and resident rooms.
  • Moves heavy furniture, supplies, and equipment.
  • Performs preventative and minor maintenance as required.
  • Performs inspection of outdoors areas and removes debris and litter, clears walkways, and ensures driveways are clear of dirt, ice and snow.
NOTE: Work requires considerable physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, or moving of heavy items.
