Job Description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of New Orleans is anticipating hiring five non-tenure instructors in mathematics starting Spring 2024 with a beginning date of January 3, 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach 12 hours per semester in various formats possibly including face-to-face, online synchronous and online asynchronous.
  • Participate in supporting the Pathways program, the Math Tutor Center, committee work, registration, group finals and other departmental activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics.

  • In addition to the standard job application requirements below, applicants to this position must upload: All transcripts; Three recommendation letters from within the last two years; Teaching evaluations for all classes taught in the last two years. This position does not require a diversity statement.
