Cognizant Mobility is the top-notch automotive engineering services arm of Cognizant, primarily focused on smart connected vehicle engineering and software delivery. Our esteemed clients include prominent Automotive OEMs and Electric/Autonomous Start Up Companies who benefit from our automotive engineering prowess.

We are seeking skilled engineers with backgrounds in Electrical and Computer Engineering for various roles such as Vehicle Systems Engineering, Electrical Design and Release, High Voltage Wire Harness Design and Packaging, Embedded Software Development, Algorithm Research, AUTOSAR Model Based System Design, Validation, Hardware in the Loop Integration, Functional Safety, Vehicle Triage, SWAT, and Launch Support.

Summary:

Drive quality enhancement and support Ford Motor Company's Automotive Safety Office (ASO) in data trend analysis, vehicle safety investigations, and process enhancement. Review Technical Service Bulletins (TSB), Special Service Messages (SSM), and Over the Air (OTA) update documentation and facilitate reviews before government agency reporting.

What you will contribute:

  • Monitor and analyze daily reports from customers and dealers to detect potential safety issues.
  • Prepare technical and non-technical documentation.
  • Support Automotive Safety Office in addressing government inquiries with data and technical analysis.
  • Collaborate with Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDI&A) for failure rate projections and investigation support.
  • Review Technical Service Bulletins (TSB), Special Service Messages (SSM), and Over the Air (OTA), and coordinate Automotive System Office reviews.
  • Guide reviews, and develop and document processes, procedures, and training.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or data analytics background preferred.
  • Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a focus on strong Excel skills.
  • Experience in quality or warranty data analysis is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with vehicle systems is essential.
  • Efficiently work independently to meet deadlines and multitask effectively.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in process development and implementation is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Ford product development or manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with diverse, cross-functional teams and global organizations.
  • Effective oral communication and adept technical writing skills.
