The town of Dartmouth is seeking a full time Dispatcher for 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to receiving emergency and non-emergency calls for Police, Fire, and EMA. Candidates should have the ability to multi-task and maintain composure in stressful situations.
Certification in E-911, LEAPS and prior experience with IMC Software and APCO training are preferred. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. The dispatch center operates 24/7 and successful candidates must be willing to work any shift. Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.
The salary range for this position is $25.14/hour - $32.85/hour
