Job Description

This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. The LA West territory includes Santa Monica, San Fernando Valley, Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Santa Clarita, and Lancaster among others.Mastery of product clinical knowledge, and ability to articulate the value proposition of ELAHERE to customers in an objective and complete manner without downplaying risksDemonstrate ability to meet business objectives without undermining work ethics and integrityMastery of clinical and marketplace knowledge related to oncologyDevelop and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned accounts and key customers and their perception of ELAHEREUtilize approved resources to educate stakeholders in target accounts on the benefits and safety of ELAHERE, billing and coding, and companion diagnostic logisticsCollaborate with stakeholders to provide account support with companion diagnostic, reimbursement, billing and coding, and patient support services in a compliant mannerDemonstrate ability to understand complex account interdependencies in order to execute on both short and long-term account plans in conjunction with a wide array of stakeholders, and proactively work with the Strategic Account Manager to effectively execute the account plan. Share learnings and best practices internallyDevelop exceptionally well-designed business plans that align with brand strategic imperatives and allocate promotional resources efficiently and compliantly to lead to strong business results.Demonstrates a mastery of knowledge and analysis of business, products, technical issues, and the changing market landscapeInfluence beyond their specific geography or product area by demonstrating advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in oncology accountsActively participate in all product, skills, and corporate training to improve personal and team skillsBe patient-focused with the ability to build and foster strong positive relationships with the healthcare professionals and key opinion leadersExhibit strong collaboration and teamwork skills with internal and external stakeholdersCompliantly pull-through demand generation efforts with prescribersAbility to identify and analyze trends in a complex buying environment. This includes the multiple channels of drug distribution, Oncology GPOs, wholesalers and specialty pharmacies. Review and evaluate patterns for products purchased and prescribed, outpatient vs. in-patient infusion, as part of hospital contract, etc.Adheres to company and compliance guidelines, policies and procedures
Qualifications
Basic QualificationsBA/BS degree3-10 years' relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales (oncology preferred)Ability to travel as required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel; up to 30-40% travelExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings)Excellent negotiation skillsPassionate and self-motivated individualValid drivers license and clean driving recordPreferred QualificationsBachelors Degree in a Biological science or related discipline preferredKnowledge of geography and customer base preferredExperience in launching new products and/or indicationsLarge oncology account experience and relationshipsBuy and Bill experienceOncology experience in the gyn onc or ovarian space
