Summary

About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

  • This position is located in Diagnostic Imaging at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center, Andrews AFB, Maryland.
  • Incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates
  • Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.


Duties
  • Interpret general diagnostic imaging modality exams including MR, CT, Ultrasound (US), plain film radiography, fluoroscopy, and mammography.
  • Lead as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various modalities and works to streamline the efficiency of scheduling and examination times.
  • Develop and revise exam protocols to reflect current standards of practice.
  • Provide consultation of diagnostic exams to ordering providers.
  • Perform common procedures such as stereotactic, US guided biopsies and arthrograms.
