We are seeking a skilled outside sales representative with experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business prospects.

Maximize sales and profitability of customer accounts.

Set sale prices based on market factors.

Present and close estimates/proposals with customers.

Conduct business at customer-preferred venues.

Adhere to job set-up and credit approval practices.

Monitor customer compliance with credit policies.

Provide outstanding customer service.

Participate in trade shows, community service clubs, and builder associations.

Maintain current product and market knowledge.

Ensure professional appearance.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Post-secondary education in construction/structural design preferred.

Experience:

3-5 years in sales, preferably in construction or building materials.

-Must have product knowledge with lumber, roofing and sliding

-Know how to read blueprint's is a must

Skills & Abilities:

Strong mathematical, communication, and technology skills.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and build relationships.

Detail-oriented with strong listening skills.

-Sales negotiations

-List of contractors is a plus

Physical Demands:

Lift/move up to 100 lbs.

Ability to walk, sit, and stand.

License:

Valid class D driver's license with a good driving record.
