Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:
  • KY license
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Cardiac Telemetry, Telemetry
  • External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Tracheostomy Management required
  • Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs required
  • Epic experience
  • EKG exam required
  • BLS, ACLS, NIH
  • MS/Tele, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience preferred
  • Interpretation of ABGs, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks preferred
  • Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury preferred
  • Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains preferred

EKG EXAM REQUIRED: Will be required to pass an advanced dysrhythmia test for competency assessment

- (preferred, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Preferred)

- Cardiovascular;
- (Preferred; Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath; Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery; Preferred)

- Gastrointestinal;
- REQUIRED Feeding tube care and management

- Genitourinary/Renal;
- (preferred; Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure Preferred)

- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy
- REQUIRED; Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs REQUIRED

- Medications
- (preferred; Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips preferred)

- Neurological/Psychiatric

- Orthopedics/ Plastics
