Career Opportunity

A Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Cariloop's software applications that support caregivers and their families. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our solutions, contributing to development projects, and writing clean and efficient code while creating software that is both easy to use and aesthetically pleasing for our members, partners, and other end-users.

Your Role

  • Actively contribute to new and existing full-stack software using TypeScript, Angular, and
  • Participate in all aspects of the agile software development process, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements to technical specifications.
  • Facilitate effective communication between engineering, product, and other internal teams to achieve on-time deliverables.
  • Maintain high quality in software through automated testing, documentation, observability, and reliability in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
  • Actively participate in strategy and architecture discussions by making recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead initiatives and participate in projects that enhance software performance and the user experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Proven experience in full-stack development with a track record of leading successful software development projects.
  • Proficiency in at least 2 modern programming languages - TypeScript, Go, Ruby, or Python
  • Strong experience developing cloud-based solutions on platforms (AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes).
  • Experience working in an agile environment with remote teams (on and offshore).
