Machine Shop Saw Operator

General Information:

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Saw Operator to join its Machine Shop team. In this role you will operate the marvel saws to cut slugs, CT tubes and other materials.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate transactions in Sap in accordance with inventory accuracy procedures.
• Order material as needed using on site material management programs.
• Safe transport and storage of all raw materials in the machine shop.
• Follow strict adherence of CCL guidelines at the saws.
• Experience operating marvel saw or similar machines such as CNC or traditional lathes/mills.
• Overhead crane experience (rigging and operation).
• Able to produce parts as detailed on drawings.

Your Background:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or technical certification preferred.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Flexible, team oriented and self-directed to ensure on time delivery out of the department.
• Basic working knowledge of computers and SAP preferred.
