The primary purpose of this position is to To serve as a Strategic Mission Planning and Execution Systems (SMPES) senior information technology (IT) specialist and consultant to management responsible for planning.



Duties
  • Provides subject matter expertise for infrastructure supporting software applications that support nuclear weapon planning systems.
  • Assesses policy needs and develops policy and procedures governing IT activities.
  • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
  • Represents the organization at conferences and meetings and presents briefings.
  • Performs studies and establishes plans of action for improving the efficiency of mission systems infrastructure.
