The Project Manager position is responsible for a variety of professional tasks. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects independently or with light supervision from the owner and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects. Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution. Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communication and documentation; office administrative tasks and project team assignments. A Project Manager is required to set an example and maintain a professional attitude in the office and interact with owner, staff, clients, consultants, and contractors about design ideas and construction methods. Administrative tasks are also asked of this position including general office management and maintaining a clean and professional work environment.

  • Collaborate and lead project team to develop multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously
  • Perform project due-diligence and zoning research to establish project viability
  • Generate and/or delegate preliminary design ideas to meet client program
  • Provide clear and detailed direction and references to junior staff to be able to generate schematic graphics and deliverables
  • Redline and provide feedback to junior staff to learn, improve, and produce quality work within allotted timeframes and deadlines.
  • Research, organize, and coordinate project information
  • Research and specify materials, products, and systems
  • Oversee/Generate basefiles and facilitate construction drawings & project submittal documents
  • Respond to plan check comments and corrections
  • Travel (light amount) to project sites, for observation, site analysis, documentation, and learning opportunities.
  • Follow and maintain project folder naming and organization of digital files.
  • Maintain building code familiarity and troubleshoot code issues.
  • Attends and/ or leads client presentation, project, and consultant meetings
  • Manage project scope, task budgets, and deadlines & lead project team to produce quality work within these constraints
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, and agencies throughout the project
  • Respond to RFI's, process submittals, and review shop drawings
  • Train and mentor staff
    • Have obtained an accredited degree in architecture and/or Architectural License
    • 5-10 years of work experience in architecture firm
    • Moderate-High experience level with BIM programs (Revit OK, ArchiCAD Preferred)
    • Experience with Twinmotion & Lumion a plus
    • Excellent Communication Skills (written, verbal, graphic)
    • Experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft platform
