POSITION: Operations Specialist (Level III)

FULLTIME/PARTTIME: Fulltime (Contract assignment)
LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8a, to 5pm OT as needed
PAY RANGE: $20.00 – 21.02 hourly

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The stock loan analyst plays an integral role in the support of our institutional trade desks. The position includes providing operational support to the BU and Clients directly on borrow/lending comparison, trade matching, collateralization, and break research. Providing settlement status to client intra-day of Equity and Bond trades, coordinating with internal counterparts to confirm settlement status for all current day transactions between MLPFS and MLI and street counterparts. Role includes interaction with the Front Office Business Unit other internal GMO&MO support departments such as Trade Processing, Settlement, Corporate Actions and Operations Risk management.Expert Excel knowledge.Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar major preferred.Basic understanding of and/or experience in Financial service industry.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Processing mark to markets, processing returns and new borrows, moving collateral to and from agent lenders/banks and Providing status of all trades for client currently. Unaffirmed by contra party, providing detailed status of all failing trades and conduct research regarding reclaims, erroneous trade bookings and settlements .
