Tour Desk

This role is dynamic in nature and requires a fast-paced attitude to stay on top of duties. Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative working environment, maximizing productivity and being highly engaged. Ensure all guests receive prompt attention and are provided with accurate information on Island activities and tour. Also, Making recommendations as necessary in a friendly and efficient manner at all times and dealing with guest inquiries and complaints, in a prompt and courteous manner.

You will also have to clean vehicles according to company standards, which may include performing detailed inspections. Assist in keeping records related to gas levels and the condition of the vehicle. You should possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles.

As previously mentioned, this role is a hybrid position. You will also be working the Tour Desk as a Tour Desk with the Director of Transportation and Maintenance. You will Communicate and maintain a healthy relationship with walk-in guests, answer phone calls, help schedule reservations, check customers in, and undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your Director.

Duties:

• Communicate and maintain a healthy relationship with all guests.
• Resolves all inquiries from guests and ensures customer satisfaction
• Assist guests with reservation, cancellation and payment processes of the tours.
• Preparing invoices and Debit notes for closed sales.
• Monitoring and follow up the guests deposit payment.
• Approach all encounters with guests, walk-in guests, in a friendly, welcoming and service-oriented manner.
• Check guests out/in for their tour(s)
• Clean vehicles as they are checked back in and prepare lot for next day
• Answer any and all calls that come in with a friendly smile
• Provide information and promote our different tours to the guests.

• Keep the tour desk representable, neat and tidy at all times.
• Any other activities that are required within the workplace.

Physical Demands:

• Standing a minimum of 8 hours per day
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift 50 pounds

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have exceptional computer skills
• Courteously greeting callers, determining the reason for their call, and answering questions or directing their requests to a different department as necessary
• Must have valid driver's license
• Works with a sense of urgency to match the business needs
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Pro-active attitude.

• Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
