The University of Rochester Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University is seeking a full-time academic general obstetrician-gynecologist with interests in Obstetric Hospitalist care.

Team-oriented, mission- driven group of faculty members dedicated to clinical teaching and caring for patientsClinical work will take place at Strong Memorial HospitalOur mission is to provide the highest quality of care to every patient with dignity, cultural sensitivity and compassion regardless of their ability to payThe candidate must be committed to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and advancing the academic mission through quality improvement or researchAcademic rank commensurate with qualifications and experienceHospitalist OB/GYN services will include:Low and High-risk Obstetrics for prenatal care through delivery with co-management, consultation and referral to UR MFM as appropriateGynecologic surgical services including inpatient surgeriesAccess to world class OB/GYN, education and research specialistsHospitalist will cover nights and weekends alongside another OB/Gyn Faculty member and a 4 member resident team with a robust back up system of both MFM specialists and Gynecologists. 14 and 24-hour shifts available QualificationsM.D., D.O., or equivalentSuccessful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecologyBC/BE by the American Board of Obstetrics and GynecologyEligible to obtain a New York medical license or already be licensed in New York StateBoard-certified with a minimum of 3-5 years post-residency experience preferredApplication Instructions

The referenced pay range represents the University s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
