CUWAA Adjunct Faculty members fulfill the university's mission to help students develop in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world. Adjunct Faculty members advise and mentor students while serving as Christian role-models. The appointment period for Adjunct Faculty is nine-months contract with the University.

The aim of this job listing is to generate interest for Adjunct Faculty teaching at CUWAA and to help our university compile an applicant pool of qualified candidates for current and/or future teaching opportunities.

Position Summary

CUWAA Adjunct Faculty members fulfill the university's mission to help students develop in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world. Adjunct Faculty members advise and mentor students while serving as Christian role-models. The appointment period for Adjunct Faculty is nine-months contract with the University.

School of Education

The School of Education offers program emphases in urban, international, and emerging education through four distinct undergraduate departments and eleven graduate programs.

Adjunct Faculty teach certificate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral courses in programs within the below departments:

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in student advising and mentoringProvide evaluationResponsible for meeting with assigned students throughout the semesterProvides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. Adjunct faculty reports to the chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the universityAll other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
Master's degree in subject to be taught or related5+ years of previous university level teaching experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree program is preferredProfessional experience in subject to be taught or related
