POSITION OVERVIEW

Global Atlantic Financial Company (a subsidiary of Global Atlantic Financial Group Limited) is seeking a candidate for the position of Table Associate. Responsibilities include:

  • Tableau Associate within the Enterprise Information Management Office (EIMO).
  • Formalize data governance and records management practices.
  • Proactively manage and monitor the quality of our data.
  • Strengthen security and audit practices.
  • Provide an integrated environment that provides access to structured, semi-structured and unstructured data and supports search and reporting as well as advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Provide the foundation for continued growth and the realization of enterprise-wide initiatives like digital Strategy Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) project will iteratively build out a comprehensive integrated Enterprise Data Zone for all functional areas of the organization using Hadoop based technologies.
  • Establish the strategy and toolsets for prescriptive and predictive analytics through visualization and machine learning.
  • Develop key metrics, uncover vital insights, and deliver critical analysis that will lead to data-informed decisions and guide business strategy.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and teammates to use data to drive the success of the organization.
  • Influence decisions made at the highest levels of the company as part of the EIMO data operations team and utilize expertise to create descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics and reporting solutions that bring data to life through visualizations and storytelling.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related analytical field, plus five (5) years of experience with a Master's degree or seven (7) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related role.
  • Five (5) years of experience must include:
    • Working with all features of Tableau Data Sources, Extracts, Variety of Data Visualizations, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau cloud, Tableau Online, Tableau Mobile, Tableau Public, Tableau Reader, Tableau Prep, SQL, Business Objects, and Tableau Bridge.
    • Applying Business Intelligence, enterprise reporting and business object.
    • Setting up repositories, users, and security management.
    • Developing complex SQL code including stored procedures and views.
    • Knowledge of Tableau server best practices including administration, security, and clustering.
  • Two (2) years of experience must include:
    • Creating and planning architecture and on-boarding plan for Alteryx Software using Alteryx Server, Alteryx Designer, and Alteryx Intelligent Suite.
    • Applying analytical skills and effectively communicate complex concepts to relevant stakeholders.
