Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist must demonstrate competency in speech pathology for pediatric, adult, or geriatric patients as applicable for the site/level of care of employment and provides patient assessments, develops and implements individual patient treatment programs, provides therapeutic interventions utilizing current and effective methodologies, and maintains effective documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed in California as a Speech Pathologist. (Note - We will consider candidate who has not yet obtained Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) if department staffing allows; must obtain Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) within 12 months of hire)
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Speech Pathology with a MA or MS.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)

Preferred:

Previous experience as a speech pathologist.

Pay Range

$ $61.91 /hour
